A client in College Grove, TN is looking for a dog-loving Family Household Assistant to join their team! The family consists of 12-year-old boy and girl twins and three dogs! They are looking for someone who has a “see a need, fill a need” mentality. This is a fast-paced home with changing needs! The kids are active and largely independent, but they need someone to keep things running and get them where they need to be! Candidates should be comfortable working with preteens. This is a fully staffed home and candidates must be comfortable working alongside a household manager and other household staff with a team player attitude! Candidates should be self-motivated, highly trustworthy, and ready to jump in wherever needed — whether that’s an errand, a birthday party, or covering for the family’s house manager when she’s out! They are looking for someone warm who brings a positive presence to an active home. Candidates must LOVE dogs, as dog care will be a large part of this job. This candidate will be responsible for getting the dogs out and about and helping burn off energy! Flexibility is a must in this role, as no two days will look the same.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: driving kids to and from activities, overnights with the kids, dog care, cleaning up after dogs, managing vet and groomer appointments, dog sitting, take the cars to be detailed and maintance appointments, general household support, run errands, manage packages and returns, laundry, meet vendors at the home, support the house manager, organization, daily tidying, helping book travel, family logistics and more!
The ideal schedule is Monday–Friday, between the hours of 8am-6pm, with a gaurantee of 40 hours a week. A schedule will be provided in advance for each week. Flexibility is a MUST, including some evenings, weekends and overnights and a busier pace over the summer. The client is offering $35/hr+ DOE full health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) match, and 15 days of PTO. There are 3 dogs in the home, so candidates must be pet friendly! A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required.
