A family of 5 in Brentwood is looking for a family assistant to join their home! There are three children, ages 7, 6, and 4. The kids are partially homeschooled and have a nanny/homeschool teacher. The Family Assistant will help fill in the gaps of the day to day to keep the home running smoothly. The ideal candidate is flexible and willing to jump in wherever is needed! The ideal candidate is comfortable with children and recognizes tasks that need to be done around the house. The family values a calm, quiet household and seeks someone dependable, proactive, warm, and easygoing! While the role is focused in Brentwood, the family has a second property in Columbia that the candidate must be comfortable driving to once a week. No regular travel is required, but openness to travel is a plus!
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: backup childcare, helping transport kids to and from afternoon activities, laundry, daily tidying, running errands, managing packages and returns, grocery shopping, light meal prep, managing household stock, dealing with vendors, oversight of Columbia home, and more!
The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 10am-6pm, but with flexibiliy to shift. A household vehicle is provided for use while working with the children. They are offering $35-$45/hr DOE, a health insurance stipend, 10 days of PTO, and 4 sick days. Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience. This is a pet free home.
